English for Kids
Classes for ages 5–12 where children are too busy playing, performing and storytelling to notice how much English they are learning.
How children learn here
Children do not study English the way adults do — so we do not teach them that way. Lessons are built from short, high-energy activity cycles: a phonics game becomes a chant, the chant becomes a story, the story becomes a small performance. By the end of the hour every child has spoken, read and laughed in English.
Groups are arranged by both age and level, never more than eight children per class, with a teaching assistant alongside the lead teacher for the youngest groups.
- Three age bands: Little Readers (5–7), Explorers (8–10), Navigators (11–12).
- Weekend and after-school slots — Saturdays plus Tuesday/Thursday afternoons.
- Systematic phonics for the youngest band; project work and debate for the oldest.
- Term reports for parents plus a five-minute teacher chat every month-end.
